I think I may pop in there today and give them the heads up that so many people are going to be ordering the Mac on Wednesday! Mark, one of the owners, was actually casual friends with Jared from before I met him. I think that Mark even works on Wednesday evening. Not sure though. -

They would like to meet his seattle friends & share stories about him as well!

I love what a diverse group of folks rallied around this man.... every age, ethnicity, subculture... he was a serious wizard when it came to crossing lines and bridging chasms. I think that's my personal favorite thing I'll remember about Jared. It take real people-ability to do that, and he did it really, really well. Were you still there when Eunice arrived? She only stayed for a bit, but it was really nice to meet her and connect.... I don't think she really knew much about his entire online universe. Nikk was going to send the links to his pages.... -

Thu, April 26, 2007 - 9:37 AMI think that was definitely such an awesome thing about Jared. It is a rare person who can connect with such a broad spectrum of people and be so genuine while doing so. That and his ability to be joyful and excited about all kinds of things big and small without ever worrying about if it was cool or not are two things I will remember most about him.
